It's our turn again this week to be the hosts of the 100 word challenge. Thank you to all of the pupils who have left comments. I hope that you enjoy this weeks writing.
Today we have had the opportunity to work with author and illustrator Nick Sharratt. We have had a great time looking at some of his books, especially PANTS!! This week it is our turn to write our 100 word challenges. Please comment on how we have got on. You could write 1 thing that we have done well, and 1 thing that we could improve next time. We look forward to reading your comments! Year 6 explored the positive and negative parts of the internet. Can you think of any top tips for keeping safe online? Today we visited Beamish museum, as part of our topic on WWII. We had the opportunity to be Bevin boys and Land Army girls. We have been developing our questioning skills in literacy. Listen to our interviews, and tell us what you think!
Today Elizabeth (from Beamish museum) visited us, to talk about the jobs that men and women had to do during the war. We got the chance to look at lots of different artifacts, related to the different jobs. We are now really excited about our visit to the museum. |
