This was really fun day. I enjoyed being part of the woman's land army. Miss Scott taught us about about the land army before we came. First we had a tour around the farm. Then we got to go into the farmers home. As a woman in the woman's land army we did two things: make scare crows and make pots out of paper and planted seeds in them with soil.

That day at beamish was phenomenal we all had a great time and the jobs that we did on the farm was alright we made a scarecrow and the group that I was in won the people who were in that group were Olivia, Paige, Abbie, Elisha and me. But I was disappointed when we didn't get to see the sweet making demo but then I was glad that because we didn't get the sweet demo and free sweets

And then she bought us some free sweets and they were delicious I would like to go back there because it was very exciting and I would like to go back into the farmers house and do some more amazing activities!! I am sure that everyone else loved the experience that they had there too and will want to go back to beamish museum.

David's coal is flying in the air cool! What are the pigs names?
How old are they? And what do they do? For a living? what is a daily life of a land army farmer also do they have to do the black out thing like people in London or do they get to keep the lights on like today?
If you also want to know what it was like been games Bevin Boy they would get paid 20D a day but you would also give some to your family and then pay for your food give and then do your house bills give some money to your children if you had them and then in total you would have 3D to spend on your self. The D means shillings for some reason. You would have one lamp and if the fire died out that would be it. The coal wold be heavy and you had to work as a team. Thank you

I hope you all had a brilliant time! Sometimes Beamish is creepy to me because of how long its been open! When I was only 5 I went there with my dad and I didn't like it at all!
